In 1911, a twelve-year-old boy was brutally murdered in Kyiv. Soon, suspicion fell on a Jewish employee of a brick factory - and an investigation began that shook the entire Russian Empire. The case quickly turned into a high-profile political process filled with myths, lies and religious enmity. In an era of declining monarchy, paranoia and growing hatred, it became more than just a criminal matter.
